I have written history books focusing on European royalty, encompassing the fifteenth to twentieth centuries. Each of the books looks at the exciting lives of a group of royal women
and the impact they had on history.
'From Splendor to Revolution' takes the reader on a journey to imperial Russia via the lives of four Romanov women during the time when the tsarist court was at its apogee in the nineteenth century. We then follow the tragic course of Russian and Greek history into the early twentieth century, culminating in the Russian Revolution of 1917.
'In Triumph's Wake' focuses on three special sets of royal mothers and daughters, the mothers having been highly successful rulers in their own right - Queen Isabella of Castile, Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, and Queen Victoria. Their daughters, meanwhile, endured a different fate as consorts.
'Born to Rule' looks at a special group of Queen Victoria's granddaughters who married reiging monarchs and encompasses the years 1869-1969.
